The Obama Administration takes action to reduce prescription drug shortages & fight price gouging.President Obama has signed an executive order designed to ease prescription drugshortages across the nation. Last year, the Food and Drug Administration reported 178 shortages of cancer medicines, anesthetics and a variety of other drugs. Under the president's order, the U.S. Department of Justice will also examine whether there's been price gouging or stockpiling of medications.Sources:
